How is it different from Wegovy®?Wegovy® (semaglutide) targets one hunger hormone (GLP-1). Mounjaro® targets two (GLP-1 and GIP). Because it works on both pathways simultaneously, it generally produces greater weight loss. In clinical trials, people on Mounjaro® lost more weight on average than those on semaglutide.
